Timed Release in StudioPret

This module allows you to define when the articles are generated and published to your site.

IMPORTANT SEARCH ENGINE ADVICE!

Yes, I know you have a database with a million records, and you want it all in a website tomorrow. However you need to be realistic.

Google does not have infinite resources for indexing work so a million pages on a new website will not be indexed straight away!

Google will assign limited resources to index your site so you should aim to start with popular articles that are a great fit for search queries. Once you’ve established trust with Google then you can expand to more niche pages that may get very few clicks.

Personal evidence for this: I have a DR 30 site with 200k visits a month. Despite that Google only assigns about 200 pages of daily indexing budget.

More SEO Advice

For the love of god please do not overdo the publishing frequency! Google has said they don’t mind AI content, but I don’t trust them.

One sure fire way to tell if something is AI is to look at the publish times and frequencies. One article every 10 seconds looks mighty suspicious!

This module is setup to release articles at a certain frequency whilst adding or subtracting a random amount of time. This makes it look like a human is publishing these, eg at 1.50pm one day, 2.04pm the next and 1.59pm the next.

If you’d like a faster frequency then feel free to choose one but be aware of the above points!

How to Use

Start Releasing: Define the GMT date and time when the whole process will start generating and releasing articles. Once the process has started changing this value will have no effect.

Release Every: The interval at which articles will be generated and released. You should set this to at least 1 minute but preferably more than 5 minutes. The reason is to stop search engines from thinking that you are a robot! There’s usually no issue with robotic release – this is just a precaution.

Random Max Variance: The release interval will be varied by between 0 and this value each time. Again, the idea is to prevent search engines from thinking you are a bot.

PLEASE NOTE: If your interval is too close in time then the system will wait until the previous article is finished generating, before starting the next one!
