In StudioPret the Text block allows you to define some text that mostly does not change across articles.
You may want to do this if you have something like a fixed introductory paragraph.
Variables
The only thing that will change is the insertion of {{variables}} defined from other blocks or from the data row that applies to this article.
Example
Let’s say that you have 2 rows of your structured data that are:
Verb: avoir, Translation: to have
Verb: aller, Translation: to go
Text block definition:
<h2>Conjugation of the verb: {{Verb}} ({{Translation}})</h2>
Results:
<h2>Conjugation of the verb: avoir (to have)</h2>
<h2>Conjugation of the verb: aller (to go)</h2>
Tips
The text block is not only useful for text that repeats across multiple articles. It can also be used in the following way:
- Link to pillar content or content hubs
- External links (using the external link block)
- Whatever your imagination can come up with!
